Supporting Children & Young People to Thrive

At Heartview Children’s Home, our focus is on providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for children and young people. We adopt a person-centred approach, tailoring support to each individual based on their placement plan. This approach involves helping children and young people achieve their goals and pursue their dreams and interests.
Our team supports children and young people to gain daily living skills – practical and social so that they grow a sense of responsibility.
We believe that putting time to productive use spares our children and young people from exploitation, alcohol and substance misuse. Therefore, we ensure every child/young person has access to the education appropriate to their age and ability which in future will help them to pursue career and develop a purpose and passion.
Our work is centred on the individual and we involve them in the planning process, accommodating their wishes and feelings as much as possible. We allow children and young people to represent themselves and also give them the right to complain. Our team respects the choices and needs of our children and young people including those related to religious or cultural beliefs, gender, race, sexuality and disability
